Principal’s Message

I would like to warmly welcome all of our students, families, and staff to Louise Van Meter Elementary School for the new school year.  My name is Jenny Anderson, and I am honored to continue to serve as Principal for the 26-27 school year. 

Louise Van Meter Elementary is an outstanding school and a very special place. Providing our students with a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment is our highest priority. Van Meter is a place where we want you and your child to feel they truly belong.  We take pride in intentionally incorporating the Bulldog Way (being Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and Kind) into all aspects of our school, from engaging classroom lessons to playing at recess and everything in between.  The caring and hard-working Van Meter team includes more than thirty teachers and dozens of support staff who work collaboratively to provide rigorous academic content, a robust enrichment program, and many special events throughout the year. We are proud partners with our incredible Home and School Club, One Community Los Gatos, and the entire parent community. We believe that when we work together, every child can be successful. Go Bulldogs!
