Happy Autumn! I am absolutely thrilled to be starting the 2014-2015 academic year at Louise Van Meter Elementary...this will be my fourth year at LVM and I am so thankful to return following the summer break to a position I truly cherish.
I have the primary honor of serving the fantastic students enrolled within our Special Day Classes here on campus and I could not be more grateful to continue our adventure together!
I also have the privilege of assessing and serving our youngest students as they transition from Early Start (i.e., Birth to 3 years of age) to our very own LGUSD.
LVM is remarkably fortunate to have two speech-language therapists on campus. Mrs. Gail Weeker, a truly phenomenal speech-language pathologist, primarily serves our students enrolled in general education and she is absolutely treasured by staff and students alike. Please do not fret if you arrived at this website, when you were really looking for Mrs. Weeker's...it happens all the time and best of all, I'll never know! You can connect with Mrs. Weeker in several ways. We are "next door neighbors," and our offices are sandwiched between Room 5A and the Library. You can also reach Mrs. Weeker via Mrs. Weeker's website
which has her phone number and email address as well as valuable resources.
